No Bake Golden Turmeric Cake (with bonus Turmeric Latte recipe!) Vegan & Gluten Free | Delia.v Life

Widely coined as the most powerful spices of all, turmeric is a go-to fix for a variety of health issues. Its incredible list of health benefits include antioxidants, mood boosting and anti-inflammatory! (erm, pimples anyone?) Hence, we have been including this incredible spice in our diets recently!

For turmeric to be absorbed effectively, it is best eaten with black pepper. Hence, when we saw Vahana Turmeric Latte Blend on Everydayvegan Grocer, we immediately got it! This unique blend of turmeric latte is crafted with other quality and organic spices such as black pepper and ground ginger! If you have tasted turmeric on its own, it is quite an acquired taste. We are not huge fan of the taste of turmeric but we would say that this turmeric latte blend got the taste spot on! Just the right amount of different spices to complement the unique flavour of turmeric! Being avid bakers, of course we had to make a cake with that as a star ingredient!

This Turmeric latte cake consist of a chocolate oat base, vanilla mousse and turmeric mousse. The combination of these 3 layers is simply amazing - it's literally Chai Latte in a cake! It reminds us of a silky smooth chocolate oat milk with notes of vanilla and turmeric! So warm and and comforting... Paired with a hot cup of turmeric latte and you've got yourself a perfect tea time treat! The use of wholesome and nutritious ingredients in this cake makes it extra nourishing and soothing for your enjoyment. Furthermore, we really like how pretty the cake turned out, layers of brown, white and yellow with specks of red due to the freeze dried raspberries! Bring this to your next party and thank us later!
